These days, no matter where you look, you will find that people are saying that you have to weigh a certain amount or you have to look a certain way. But what is the ideal body weight for the average person? The first thing that you want to do to find out whether your weight is healthy is to discover your BMI and your waist size. For the majority of the population, these two things are going to help them know whether or not their weight is healthy or not.

Now, the BMI is just one indication of how healthy you are. A person who is deemed overweight because of their BMI may not be necessarily unhealthy if they are eating an exercise habits are good. On the other hand, people who are thin and don’t exercise and don’t eat aren’t healthy.
